This limited edition gyokuro from Yame is crafted by a small family tea garden using traditional shading techniques that deepen flavour and preserve the leaf’s finest qualities. Sourced as a true single origin, it reflects the distinct character of one cultivar grown in a specific terroir, shaped by generations of careful cultivation. Single origin strains of gyokuro and high quality green tea ensure a more specific and homogenous falvour profile. Perfect for the ultimate green tea lover. Handpicked at peak tenderness, each leaf expresses the purity and nuance of its origin.
The infusion is smooth and full-bodied, with rich umami, gentle sweetness, and notes of oceanic freshness. A lingering, savoury finish invites slow sipping.
Gyokuro stands apart for the precision and patience it requires -- shade-growing, selective harvesting, and low yields all contribute to its exceptional depth, softness, and complexity. The result is a tea that feels both refined and deeply satisfying, offering a uniquely immersive drinking experience rooted in its single origin.
