About GOSU Blue:
“Gosu” is a historic blue pigment traditionally used in Japanese ceramics, particularly in blue-and-white ware. Over time, it has become widely adopted across various ceramic-producing regions. Unlike many other pigments, GOSU Blue is renowned for its exceptional durability — it is applied to unglazed pottery, ensuring the color remains vibrant and does not fade over time. Though often collectively referred to as “Gosu Blue,” the pigment encompasses a broad spectrum of shades, from deep, muted blues to bright, vivid tones, and even soft, delicate light blues.

Craftsmanship:
Each plate is meticulously hand-painted by an experienced and highly skilled ceramic artist. The detailed brushwork reveals the artist’s precision and dedication — every plate is painted individually, making each one a unique piece of functional art.
