Fujiya Sakuma

Guinomi Small Cup

Regular price £190.00
Taxes included.

The traditional shioyaki (salt-firing) technique used in their creation involves introducing salt into the kiln at high temperatures, resulting in a natural, semi-matte glaze with beautiful, unique variations. These subtle hues make the set particularly well-suited for serving matcha, as the colour of the tea contrasts strikingly with the glaze.

This guinomi small cup is ideal for sake, tea and other versatile serving uses. Enjoy the texture of the salt induced grooves and pair it with its own shioyaki pouring pot by the same artist found here.

This strong vibrant blue rounded base guinomi cup makes it a consistent weight for easy grip. Ideal for those who like teas brewed at lower temperatures as you can enjoy it cool to the touch.
