Unique Hand-Painted Kozanji Sobachoko

This uniquely crafted sobachoko cup features a hand-painted design inspired by the iconic Kozanji (Choju Giga) scrolls. Its smooth, rounded form is ideal for enjoying tea or serving snacks and confectionery, adding a touch of timeless artistry to your table. Designed with versatility in mind, it can also double as a serving dish for desserts or small sides. The sobachoko is available in two sizes to suit your needs, seamlessly blending practicality with elegance in every use.

Keizangama is a traditional Japanese pottery studio based in the historic village of Arita, located in Saga Prefecture—a region renowned as a benchmark for Japanese pottery. It is one of the only two kilns (out of 200) to be currently run by a female CEO.

Please note: As each product is handpainted, slight variations—such as blurring or differences in the intensity of the design—are to be expected, enhancing the unique charm of each piece. We recommend avoiding using a bristle or scratchy sponge when cleaning it.
