Kan Matsuzaki

Chosekiyu Tea Bowl

Regular price £980.00
Taxes included.

Crafted by Kan Matsuzaki, this tea bowl by Kan Matsuzaki, crafted in the Chozeikiyu style, showcases a refined and understated elegance that draws from the subtle beauty of traditional Japanese ceramics. The Chozeikiyu style is known for its serene, muted color palette, and this tea bowl features a soft, pinkish-gray glaze that exudes a calm and tranquil aura. The delicate tone of the glaze is both gentle and sophisticated, evoking the quiet grace of natural stone or weathered clay.

The texture of the tea bowl is beautifully bumpy and tactile, with the surface gently undulating in a way that invites you to trace your fingers across its curves. The irregular, organic texture adds a sense of movement and life to the piece, highlighting the handmade nature of the work. Each bump and contour contributes to the overall sense of warmth and individuality, creating a deeply personal experience when holding or using the bowl. This teabowl is not only a functional piece but also a testament to the delicate balance between tradition, craftsmanship, and natural beauty.

This item comes with its own wooden box and tied in a traditional Japanese ribbon.
