Cherry Bark Sokawa Tea Caddy
This tea caddy is meticulously wrapped—inside, outside, and across the lid—in finely polished, genuine wild cherry bark. Carefully dried over time and expertly shaved to a delicate thinness, each layer reveals the unique grain and natural hues of the bark, making every piece one of a kind.
Cherry bark is revered not only for its subtle beauty but also for its practical virtues: gentle ventilation, moisture regulation, and inherent antibacterial properties. These qualities make the caddy exceptionally suited for preserving the delicate aroma and freshness of tea leaves.
Crafted using the time-honoured Japanese technique of Kaba-zaiku (cherry bark craftsmanship) from Akita Prefecture, each piece reflects a quiet elegance rooted in timeless tradition.

Customs & Import Charges
For EU orders under €150 (excluding shipping), VAT is collected at checkout. Orders over €150 may be subject to additional customs charges on arrival.
