The matcha & wasanbon sweets  set offers a harmonious blend of Japanese tradition and refinement, perfect for those looking to experience the elegance of a true tea ceremony. At the heart of the set is Organic certified Wabisuke Matcha, carefully harvested and stone-ground to preserve its delicate umami and high antioxidant content. The earthy Wabisuke matcha provides the perfect balance to the natural sweetness of wasanbon, a finely crafted Japanese sugar made from pure cane. Unlike typical sugars, wasanbon offers a soft, almost floral sweetness that complements the matcha without overpowering its complex flavour profile. Together, they create a refined, balanced tea experience that echoes the principles of Japanese tea ceremonies—harmony, purity, and tranquility.

Choose between four beautifully designed options:

  • The elegant New Year of the Snake theme with the traditional drums and other emblems to commemorate the new year.

  • The Spring Haru collection celebrates Japan’s spring bloom with sakura and other flowers. Intricate floral patterns reflect the season’s renewal and fleeting beauty, bringing the fresh, hopeful spirit of spring to life in every bite.

  • Summer Flowers are inspired by Japan’s summer rainy season, this collection highlights hydrangeas and wisteria, flowers found in the summer. Other emblems include a small umbrella emblem for a tranquil yet vibrant spirit of Japan’s summer showers.

  • Children's festival honours Japan’s Children’s Day (5th May), featuring koi-nobori (koi fish streamers) symbols. The koi fish represent strength and perseverance, embodying hopes for children’s bright futures.

Wasanbon Ingredients: Sugar cane, Colouring.
