The set’s earthy tones and flowing glaze patterns reflect the artist's deep connection to nature and his dedication to traditional Mashiko pottery techniques.

The Katakuchi features a gracefully flared spout, perfect for serving sake, sauces, or dressings, while the Ochoko complements it with its compact, tactile design, ideal for sharing moments of quiet appreciation. Subtle variations in texture and glaze highlight the handmade process, ensuring each piece is unique.

Blending function and artistry, this set pays homage to the simplicity and charm of Mingei, offering a timeless addition to both modern and traditional table settings.

Care Information

Caring for new ceramics:
When you buy a new ceramic piece it is a good idea to place it in a bowl of water for around 2 to 3 hours. Pottery has air between the clay particles, which in time can let
in dirt and cause staining. By soaking the piece in water these gaps can be sealed, preventing the dirt from encroaching.
