White Porcelain Kyusu (Tea Pot)

The unique cylindrical design of this kyusu makes it very stable on your table, while the pure white porcelain allows you to appreciate the lovely colours of your tea. The lid is large, making it easy to throw away the tea leaves once tea time is over.

This teapot has a special water-repellant finish, patented in Saga prefecture, to prevent dripping from the spout and tea stains from forming.

It's produced by young artisans of Hizenyoshida-yaki in Ureshino city, Saga prefecture. Hizenyoshida-yaki has been produced in this area for over 400 years.
