Crafted by Keizangama, a traditional Arita kiln renowned for its finely hand painted porcelain, this ceramic cup features a striking splash of red and blue, adorned with lively patterns of lobster and fish. The yunomi is fired twice to bring out the bold and brightness of the red colour. The vibrant marine motifs bring a joyful energy to the piece, celebrating both nature and tradition in a design that’s as meaningful as it is eye-catching.

Keizangama

Keizangama is a traditional Japanese pottery studio based in the historic village of Arita in Saga Prefecture, a region widely regarded as the birthplace of Japanese porcelain.

Today, Keizangama is one of only two of Arita's approximately 200 kilns to be led by a female CEO, while continuing the region's long tradition of exceptional craftsmanship and hand painted porcelain.
