We recently had the joy of hosting a private Japanese tea ceremony workshop in Chelsea, to celebrate a special birthday with a close circle of women. Set within the peaceful comfort of the host’s home, the afternoon offered a rare chance to slow down and share in something meaningful—rooted in beauty, intention, and quiet togetherness.
To mark the occasion, each guest was gifted a beautiful goodie bag to take home, including a tin of organic Wabisuke matcha, a set of traditional wasanbon sweets—and their own ceramic matcha tea bowl, a lasting memento of the ceremony and its quiet joy.
We are always deeply moved by how the tea ceremony can create such strong, grounding connections between people. Thank you to our wonderful host and guests for allowing us to be part of such a heartfelt celebration.
