Vintage Pink Shibori Haori (Kimono Jacket)

An incredible, vintage, shibori, silk, Japanese, haori jacket. Shibori is an incredibly labour intensive traditional Japanese tie-dyeing method, that leaves a very distinctive texture on the silk. This haori has pink ombre stripes, with flowers and leaves in orange. The white undyed areas of this haori show off the jumon, woven silk.

This haori is in very good condition, with only a few, small marks on lining. It is truly such a beautiful and unique jacket! This haori has a beaded strap to keep it closed at the front.
