Vintage Black Haori (Kimono Jacket) with Pink shibori Japanese anemones

A vintage black silk Japanese haori jacket with shibori Japanese anemones. The black silk is woven with a pattern of geometric diamonds and flowers, giving it a wonderful texture, and subtle shine when it catches the light. The pink flowers are stems have been dyed using the traditional Japanese tie-dyeing technique shibori. This haori has cream and silver himo ties.

The condition of this haori is excellent, though there are tiny brown age spots on lining. This is such a lovely and elegant haori!
