She developed her interest in Kintsugi while working with Kyoto lacquerware craftsmen Shimode Muneaki and Sato Takahiko during workshops at the Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers Museums in Oxford.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThrough dedicated practice and training, she has focused on making Kintsugi more accessible outside Japan by not only using gold but other interesting materials as well.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs the founder of Kintsugi Oxford, she delivers workshops internationally across Japan, Italy and the UK. The brass finish gives an excellent shiny bright glint.
